Started watching Normal People yesterday. Enjoyable. Anyone read any Sally Rooney? Surely the most overrated author ever?

...Gangs of London deffo has its enjoyable aspects, well directed, outrageous background cast, great editing, fight sequences are mental, but anyone else think that the lead character Sean, (Peaky Blinders kid) is the weakest thing about it?
Kinda feels like the whole thing is built around him and he just feels woefully miscast and the least capable actor by miles... and WTF is that public schoolboy accent about? His da was a mick traveller gangster FFS!?

...oh, and I realize Ozark gets a mixed-reception around these parts, but episode 9 was absolutely fucking outstanding. That opening scene, Wendy's bro in the taxi, had to pause it to look him up.... Tom Pelphrey, utterly brilliant acting, Emmy in the post.

I can vouch for the Night Of being Excellent. Iām also really enjoying the Outsider (HBO Steven King adaptation) with Ben Mendelsohn and Jason Bateman.

If you can put up with Stacey Dooley, there was a pretty good documentary she did about drug smuggling into southern Spain. Was on BBC2 sometime last week, probably still on the I player. Worth a watch.
