Normal People: Stuck with it and got through all 12 episodes. Thought it was ok in the end, nothing special. Bit like the book really. There really was no reason for it to be spread over 5 hours of TV and the sex scenes made me feel like an awkward parent. And Connell needs a slap. There are better things out there to watch but if you’re bored (like I was) then watch it.

I thought it was excellent, thought she was especially good. However, cut out the sex scenes and the running time could be cut by around a third at least
