Are you using them as 4 decks or 2?

2 at the moment. TBH its going to be very unlikely I'm going to be doing any 4 deck wizardry, maybe have one setup with loop/accapellas for a bit of messing around

Intercepted and all setup in Industry Standard towers . Pretty impressed so far . Make my old CDJ900s feel prehistoric . Suppose they did come out a decade ago. The sound is great too. One of the pitch controls is a bit wobbly but I got B stock refurbs from Denon so saved $400 on the pair . Just added a bit of felt under the knob and seems more sturdy now. Rest of the build quality is to notch. Workflow and screen amazing How're you getting on with the DB2? I'm looking at getting a refurbished DB4 in the next couple of months if all goes to plan.

It is great and Iβve only scratched the surface. I need to spent an afternoon going through the 50 or so effects and really get a grasp of them. As they are studio type effects they are not as plug and play as those in the pioneer mixers, but sound soooo much better. The DB4 possibilities would be immense .
Build quality is great, sound superb....a real joy to play on. Proper piece of kit

So I picked up a DB4 on eBay for less than a grand! Well chuffed.
I too am going for the SC5000's-half the price give or take of CDJ's. The deciding factor for me was the fact 2 tracks can be played simultaneously on 1 deck. Get in!!
Never understood why Pioneer call them 'multiplayer' when only one track can be played. Perhaps someone can explain?

See you in a few months....the DB4 is a serious piece of kit. Diggers has been using it for years and still swears by it .

Love this custom job somebody has done on DB4 (well, just changed the knobs) and posted in the rotary mixers-group in Facebook. You can make it rotary in the settings, because you can switch places with the line faders and the efx wet/dry knobs.

Looks like someone has put screw tops from wine bottles on there.

That looks absolutely hideous!!
Why would somebody do that to such a gorgeous piece of equipment??
Guessing they just like playing with big knobs...
