Hey lads looking to buy xdj 700’s and switch to record box ( from tracktor) it’s a mine field! Can I use wedj to prep the tracks before I put them on a usb ? And / or can I play straight from my iPhone through the wifi?

You can prep the tracks in Rekordbox 6 on your computer or your iPhone and use the phone as a usb. Needs a hardwire connection.

It's definitely better to use a computer. What H said. I only use the phone to listen and compare tunes when I'm out and about - using the phone as a usb is straightforward through Rekordbox 6 |

Been looking @ CDJ’s on EBay this afternoon. Large majority look battered, are they not particularly resilient or are some people misunderstanding the concept of scratching?
If I could find a decent priced pair I’m half tempted to go all in and buy a rotary mixer

Even though my cdjs and Xone 92 were between 6 and 9 years old when I sold them they were in absolute mint condition. The people who came to buy them couldn't believe how good nick they were in. Not sure how people manage to wreck their kit - although I guess lugging them around without proper cases etc. Is the main culprit

I don’t know what a reasonable offer is mate, I probably have an upper threshold of 1k, which likely way too low. |
