I like mixes to contain key clashes/bumps and nudges. Otherwise it's just the computer doing it, and it sounds too clinical.

Mate, your tune selection and flow are really good. Just work on nudging in the mix a few bars back, in fact you might as well keep practicing through the entire current tune as you have key mixed things fine. That way you can hear when you're not clashing. You're only out by a fraction of a second each time and you have the right first beat every time so it's clearly just a matching issue, easily overcome. And absolutely ditch the flanger, and don't be afraid to loop the outgoing tune to help with flowing out.

I bought a load of tracks on Monday, about 40-odd and I was quite excited to listen to them this week ahead of a new mix and suddenly, I think more than half of them are shite. I don't ever really remember that happening before - trying too hard to find new music I suppose.
