Mate, your tune selection and flow are really good. Just work on nudging in the mix a few bars back, in fact you might as well keep practicing through the entire current tune as you have key mixed things fine. That way you can hear when you're not clashing. You're only out by a fraction of a second each time and you have the right first beat every time so it's clearly just a matching issue, easily overcome. And absolutely ditch the flanger, and don't be afraid to loop the outgoing tune to help with flowing out. Nice one Millsy, cheers mate. I'm gonna give this one a re-do. No flanger. I bought a load of tracks on Monday, about 40-odd and I was quite excited to listen to them this week ahead of a new mix and suddenly, I think more than half of them are shite. I don't ever really remember that happening before - trying too hard to find new music I suppose. I always give it a few days and go back and listen again when I'm not pissed and see if they actually sound as good. Saves at least £30 a time lol

You've been warned, LT! I posted it for feedback, not because it's a tour de force...

All time low blaming the kids for using the flanger. Can sound ace if combined with a phaser+ping pong delay+supatrigga (check out Damo's mixes circa 2002).
Some good tracks and enjoyed the flow. Mixing sounds alright to me given you were a bit rusty and you did the entire mix on a pair of Kam belt drives (you are not fooling me mate). So a thumbs up from me out of my window in the direction of Teddington.

Jeez, don't be selling yourself short at all, Grant. Nothing wrong with this mix, well put together and some great tracks. The one at 53 mins sounds like a rip off of Pachanga Boys - Time btw?!?!
Other than Damo's outings (which seem to be well above the board average every time), this is as good as any member's upload. I was expecting a KAMs and Made to Fade effort after reading your sleeve notes.
Keep em coming, mate

Cheers LT - that’s Gadi Mitrani - For the Dust. Damo gets full credit for putting me on to him - fucking terrific producer.

I properly love Pachanga Boys - Time. Always used to put that on when I needed a piss - 12 minutes.

I've re-done the thing and practised the arse out of it pretty much all day, but fucked one bit up, one bar in total - is there a way of amending it? Or cutting that bit out?

One thing I noticed practising the arse off it was drifting - is that normal? It happened an awful lot, even in a short space of time. Always drifted ahead too, so it wasn’t too difficult to sort out, but made things a little more stressful that they should’ve been.

I did mention that earlier in in the thread and said I'd be very surprised if kit of that quality would do. It could also come down to how the tracks were quantised if at all. I'd be surprised with both though.

I'd be surprised with both though. Yeah, I remember you saying, but thought that was with their awful sync. It’s not on all tracks and it’s not too bad, but you definitely need to be on your toes - it’s easier that it drifts forwards, so it’s only a slight nudge, but is a fucking pain in the arse.
