Play the same track on both decks. A newer track by babicz or someone. Sync them up on zero then see if they drift.

I'll do that later - the missus will kill me if I get the decks out.
I managed to use Logic Pro and remove that offending bar - there's just a slight glitch now.

...sorry man, I'm late on this, most enjoyable and the mixing didn't interrupt the flow at all for me
I won't mention the flanging, I just got rid of my RMX as I didn't use it on a single mix in all the time I had it.

Yep sage advice. Grant I dunno re the headphones mate. Things have moved on but saying that I'm still MDR 7506 which are absolutely superb imo for the money. Modular too. Monitoring perfection. Ears never tire. still have my pair of them, great headphones really comfortable |

Used sennheiser headphones a friend had years ago only thing I found was they felt fragile compared to the mdr’s
