thank you kindly. i need to come up with a simple banner (975x180), just artist name over a texture. any software or website you know of that's simple to use and hopefully free?
edit: i found a really simple one to use for now
I use Gimp. Can do some great editing / image generation with it eswaves.bandcamp.com/for the recent three image covers - all put together using it. |

since we're both using ableton, if you want to collaborate on something, let me know. i've got lots of semi-finished work or we could start something from scratch, nothing serious, just a way to keep things interesting.
Just caught up with this! I've got an 12 week old so finding time to work on my music / put together a monthly mix isn't easy at the moment. I'll give you a nudge if I feel like I've got the time. |

time for new music finally. this one is a slow building dub techno track that wanders a little. soundcloud and bandcamp links are below, it'll be on all the other usual streaming services by the end of the week.

thanks, i like how it turned out.
lol at income through bandcamp. i've been pretty passive for the first two months just to see what the ambient interest would be. turns out it's approximately zero, i get way more random plays through soundcloud. i've set up distrokid to get my stuff on all the streaming platforms, so we'll see what impact that has. i may have to bite the bullet and set up an instagram account.
i put this new one and a couple of my previous tracks out for distribution, so if they go up without issue this week, i've got a 3 track ep to follow and 2-3 other finished singles after that. this is definitely a marathon vs a sprint, but as long as i'm enjoying making music, i'm not super worried about the whole thing.

yeah dub is so much fun to make and i definitely like the slower stuff as i get older. lots of dub influence in most of the stuff i'll put out this month.

i'm assuming the answer is no, but i'll ask just in case ... is anyone interested in updates on how the distribution/streaming processes work and how effective they are? going through it now and i'm happy to share if it'll save someone the effort.
also **shameless self promotion alert**, i have a 3 track ep release coming out march 6th. it's tech-houseish, some dub, acid, whatever as usual.

thanks, i'm really just experimenting to figure out how to get music out to people. it's a massive uphill battle and one i'm expecting to lose, but giving it a shot anyways.
