i can attest to the learning curve on ableton. it's incredibly deep, so it would take years to really learn it all, but you have to start somewhere and it's a great tool. you can always start with the intro version too, before deciding if you want to jump in and buy the full kit.

Enjoyed that. I've not used it myself, but from what I have seen/heard Digitakt gives quite a unique sound. Are you using it with Ableton?
Only thing I would say is that there seemed to be a bit too much low end? But I can see you sent it for mastering, so it may well be my ears (which are fucked) or my speakers (which could well be fucked too).

Quite like that. Pretty solid mastering as well. How much does the boy Wayne charge?

thanks, i appreciate it.
wayne has been kind enough to help me out free of charge for the two i've sent him, but i'm rightfully expecting that to change in the near future. he's clearly got a talent for it. let me know if you're interested, i can ask him what his normal rates will be and get back to you.

probably depends on how much time you think you'll put into it. i started on standard and upgraded to suite about a year later, but if you're not sure, go cheap with intro and see if you like it. you can always upgrade later.
