Xone 96 combined with the FX-machine would be a great combo I think. You couldn't use the filters on the FX as they only work with Radius-mixers, but you wouldn't need them anyway with Xone.
But that's only if you need the soundcard. If you don't I'd get the RV4.

...TPI Sound Type 14 mixer, full discrete, looks like all modular too, options to change layout around, swap-out faders for knobs, ISO for crossfader or 4x HPF's. Their systems are top notch, this thing will sound fantastic: That looks the nuts

Anyone any experience of the new Denon X1800 prime mixer? Can get a pretty good deal here on the US for about $1300. Like the fact it has digital ins for my CDJs plus send/returns for my rmx 500. Plus all the onboard effects and filters . Add to that midi out too

Played around on the denon mcx8000 on the weekend. Didn't like the feel of it at all. Felt cheap and the FX were a bit naff. Didnt seem like some were quantised/in time.

The dealer I talked to was a big fan of the deck, but says neither are selling well

Tough being in this sector and playing the follower to the prime sector. Pioneer and A&H pretty much rule the roost on high end mass market mixers . Denon have a tough task. I’ve read a few reviews of the mixer and they are very positive . I will have to get down guitar center and see if they have one I can putz around on. My Xone 62 is lush but I’m after a few more bells and whistles plus midi capabilities

Take a look at the PX:5 maybe? It's got everything, but the digital line in's the Prime-mixer has. And as I've had it almost two years I can say it's awesome.

Pioneer released this today. www.pioneerdj.com/en/product/all-in-one-system/xdj-rr/black/overview/Basically the same as XDJ RX2, just lacking the ability to hook up more equipment (such as decks) to it, and also lacks the booth out. But costs about 500 € less.
Perfect for Dad DJs who just want to play some tunes without a lap top every once in awhile.

So. What am I getting for the extra £700 over my trusty S2? Please make answers less geeky!
Nice one.

You won't need a laptop to play with it.

I think I would rather have all my bangers loaded into Traktor and see it on a big laptop screen.
Surely you are restricted by usb pen size and looking at a small screen to choose?
