July delivery for the XDJ-XZ - that's a right kick in the plums. ...I take it that's everywhere Grant? Been trying to buy a new audio interface for a couple of weeks, out of stock in most places, thought I'd found one, paid, then got the dreaded email FFS. Tried an awful lot of places. Tried eBay, but they were £800 more and even old moneybags here balked at that. |

Christ, I was thinking it might be a few weeks. That’s pissed on my lock-down chips. sure you've so much money just buy more Grant: i spoke to the bloke the other day and they have a shipment due in June- they ordered excess XZs . I might go for it as the RX2 prices are solid on eBay atm so the trade up cost is not too bad- DM me ion you are interested and I'll ping you the details. |

...had a couple of hours to familiarise, VERY different to the Rane and its going to take me a while to get used to. Have mixed exclusively with HPF filters for a while, and the ISO's are like night and day, quite musical in a weird way. Needless to say, sound quality is ridiculous. Thought the output would be a lot lower being all analogue and using the RCA/phono leads rather than the digital connectors on the Rane, but there's so much headroom, not had the master volume above 25% and its so fucking loud. Realise the layout is a bit marmite but I really like it... might need to raise the mixer a little as I'm bending over slightly more due to the channel knobs being on the front panel. (First 2 pics from Justin @isonoe as his camera is better than mine)    |
