...I'm not sure I get this, surely if you disable the internal mixer by switching to external mode this happens anyway? It's still the Traktor compressed sound. You can tell by not having to use the gains at all. It makes a high quality mixer or soundcard a bit redundant. By my understanding now you can send the track to the soundcard AS IT IS. ...can't believe that wasn't the case before? I assumed if you went external it would bypass the internal mixer, that's really shit! |

By my understanding now you can send the track to the soundcard AS IT IS. pretty sure you can turn this off in v2 - it defaults to it but you can turn off the output in the config and then the autogains through the interface. Never liked those autogains as I found they quite often get it wrong. |

Think I may pull the trigger on a Xone DB2. The digital ins and A&H sound seem to be swaying it for me vs a DJM 750 or px5. Plus here in the US you can get a new DB2 for around $900
Anyone had any experience / issues with them?

I've not heard issues with the DB2, some have had some trouble with the DB4.

Pulled the trigger on a DB2 . Hopefully get it by Friday as the Mrs is back in the old country and can get down and dirty with those iLive effects.

I tested my mate's pair of XDJ 700s and fell in love with them. With 1200 € for a pair I really can't see myself paying double for XDJ 1000s.
